Import

Everything here is a way of getting something into the file you are working in. All of it sits in the Open flyout of the File tab.

• OpenOpens a Rhino file, or any other format Rhino reads.
• ImportMerges every object from another file into this one, exactly as they are there. Nothing stays linked afterwards.
• InsertBrings a file in as a block, a group or plain objects. Unlike Import, you pick the insertion point and can scale and rotate on the way in.
• Import Elements By FileAdds someone else's Elements to your collections, from their elements.json.
• RevertDiscards every change since the last save and reloads the file from disk.
• Open File LocationOpens Windows Explorer on the folder the current file is saved in.
• Worksession ManagerKeeps several models open at once: one active and editable, the rest attached for reference.
