Shanks

Builders

The band itself. Each one is its own command with its own panel, and several carry a submenu with an advanced version or a close relative. They are listed here in the order they appear in the tab.

Classic

The plain round band, and the starting point for most rings. Set the profile, the width and the thickness and you have a shank; everything else in this block is a variation on it.

Braided

A woven band. The button is in the submenu but its command does not exist yet, so it does nothing in this build.

Cathedral

Shoulders that rise towards the centre stone, the classic engagement silhouette. The rise supports the head, so it is as much structure as style.

Advanced Cathedral

The same shape with every section under your control, for when the standard curve does not match the stone.

Bypass

The two ends pass each other instead of meeting, wrapping around the stone.

Eternity

Stones all the way round the band. The command handles the spacing so the run closes evenly, which is the whole difficulty of an eternity ring.

Advanced

Builds the band from your own sections placed along the ring curve. The escape hatch when no preset style is the shape you have in mind.

Signet

The flat top for a seal, a monogram or an engraving, on shoulders that widen to carry it.

Extrude Ring

Extrudes a profile you drew into a ring — the most direct route from a sketched section to a band.

Class Ring

The graduation-ring layout: a centre stone, flat sides for emblems and the heavy shoulders that style is known for.

Wedding

The wedding band, with the profile and comfort fit that decide how it feels rather than how it looks.

Band

A plain band on its own.

Matching

A band that follows the contour of an engagement ring so the two sit together without a gap. The reason a set looks made for each other.

Pave

A band prepared for pave setting: the rows, the seats and the metal between them, ready for the stones.

Two Rows

Two rows of stones running along the band, with the channel between them.

Split Shank

The band divides as it reaches the head, which lifts the centre stone and gives the design air.

Graduated

A band that changes width from the bottom to the shoulders — thin under the finger, wide where it meets the setting.
