Objective: Learn how to create the cutters, the V-prongs and the channel for the side gems.
Micro Setting
In the “Diamonds” tab, use the “Micro Setting” command and add the gems to the selector.

First Cutter
- Width:
0.80 mm. - Length:
2.5 mm, so it doesn’t touch the other arm.
V-Prongs
Activate the V-prongs option and make sure there is no intersection with the arm.
Channel
Activate the Channel option. You’ll notice the ends are inverted — scroll down in the panel and use the flip options for the caps.
- Channel height:
1 mm. - Channel width:
0.5 mm. - Extension: adjust it so it slightly extends past the V-prong. In this case we use
0.8 mm. - Then change the channel height to
3 mm.
Double check that nothing intersects with the other side of the shank. Once everything looks right, click Accept.

Mirror the Cutters
Use the “Mirror Opposite” command to duplicate the cutters on the other side.
