Isocurve, Split and Loft

Objective: Learn how to extract the central curve of the pendant and turn it into the surface of the rail.
Extract Isocurve
Go to the “Curve” tab and use the “Extract Isocurve” command.
- Select the infinity.
- Select the isocurve in the central part.
- Click to create it.
Change the curve’s layer to visualize it better.
Split the Curve
With the help of OSnap, create two points as shown in the image.
Once created, select the isocurve and use the “Split” command. Select the two points as separation points and press Enter. You can delete the rest of the curve.
Offset and Loft
Select the remaining curve and create an offset on both sides of 1 mm from the top view.
Select the two offset curves, go to the “Surface” tab and use the “Loft” command to create a surface. Change the surface to another layer.
