Array, Cutters and Boolean Difference

Objective: Learn how to repeat the prongs around the piece and how to seat every gem with the cutters.
Polar Array of the Prongs
Select the prongs and, in the “Transform” tab, use the “Quick Polar Array” command to create the rest.

Set the orientation to Top and the snowflake is complete.

Create the Cutters
In the “Diamonds” tab, click on the “Cutter” command.

- Choose all the prongs and add them to the selector.
- Switch to Preset 4 and accept.

Boolean Difference
Go to the “Solid” tab and use the “Boolean Difference” command.

- Select the metals and press the command.
- Then select the cutters and press Enter to complete the boolean operation.
The metal is cut and the prongs are perfectly positioned.
