Sweep the Profile with Curves 2 Rails

Objective: Learn how to turn the two rails into the base solid of the Moebius pendant.
Place the Asset
Use the “Assets” command. In the asset selector panel, double click on profile 001.
Then click in the perspective viewport — the exact spot doesn’t matter for now — and rotate it -90° to place it as shown in the image.
Curves 2 Rails
Go to the “Surface” tab and use the “Curves 2 Rails” command to position the asset on our curve.
- Select the two curves and then the asset.
- Press Enter to execute.
Command Options
The command offers more options in the command bar:
- Switch the mode to
Closed. - Activate the Sweep option.
- Press Enter to confirm.
You now have the base solid of the Moebius pendant. Move the asset to another layer to hide it.
