Offsets and Mirror

Objective: Learn how to give the lines their thickness with Offset and how to complete the arm with Mirror.
Offset Parameters
Click on the “Offset” command and check the options in the command bar:
- Distance set to
0.6. If it isn’t, select the distance option, type0.6and press Enter. - Mode set to
Both Sides. - Cap set to
Round.
Once all parameters are ready, click on one of the lines and press Enter to complete the offset.
Repeat on the Other Lines
Repeat the process for the other two lines. Select the curve and click on the “Offset” command, or right-click to repeat it. Change the mode to Both Sides for each line and press Enter.
Mirror the Diagonals
Select the two diagonal lines together with their offsets. Go to the “Transform” tab and use the “Mirror” command to reflect them on the X axis.
- Use the center of the X axis as reference.
- While holding Shift, click to the right of the viewport.
