8. Create and position the center gemstone
In Studio, create a Pear cut gem 5 mm wide. Rotate it 90° so it points along positive X, move it up 12.3 mm, then −2.85 mm from the Top view, checking it centers on the shank section.

9. Build and tune the basket setting
Basket, Edit without preset: prong diameter 1.20, height 4.90, gem inside 0.15 mm, lower overgirdle 0.20 mm, bottom diameter 1.20 mm, bottom rail inside 0.10 mm. Prongs in Straight mode, upper rail in Chamfer — hiding the shank helps see what you’re doing.

10. Customize the basket rails and finalize the setting
Upper rail to Custom Shape with Asset 003: 1.0 × 1.30 mm, undergirdle at 1.20 mm. Bottom rail with the same asset: 1.0 × 2.20 mm, rotation 15°, Z 0.05 mm. Accept — and if the upper rail still doesn’t seat, reopen Edit and push the rotation to 16°.

11. Mirror the basket and refine the shank shape
Select basket and gem and Mirror Opposite — the second pear appears facing the first. Inspect the arms for overlap with the settings, and if needed, Edit the shank and adjust the profile points along the curve until the gesture is balanced.
