11. Fix topology for pave placement

Pavé follows surface topology, so fix it first: Extract Surface (Copy = No) on the problematic central surface, delete it, select all the borders of the hole and rebuild with Sweep 2 Rails. Same shape, better flow.

12. Place pave stones on the corrected surface

Run Pavé Along Surface on the rebuilt surface — Add previews the flow, switch to V direction if needed. Gem size 1.30, distance to edge 0, and rows placed from the Top view following the topology: a second row at 0.30 spacing, then rows of 1.40 and 1.50 mm, the last at 0.40. Fine-tune with the orange Gumballs, fill gaps with Pavé Manual (1.10 mm stones fit nicely), and mirror anything symmetry missed.

13. Add prongs and cutters to the pave section

Prongs on the surface: diameter 0.60 mm, overgirdle 0.20, undergirdle 0.40, extension 0.60. Add automatically, accept the outer ones and finish the rest by hand with X symmetry on. Then SelMesh grabs all the gems — Ctrl-deselect those that already have cutters — and Cutters with the third preset does the rest.

14. Complete the top pave section and its prongs/cutters

Hide the finished stone work and repeat on the last surface: five rows via Pavé Along Surface, then Pavé Manual with 1.4, 1.5 and 1.3 mm stones, X symmetry in the corner, two 1.25 mm and two closing 0.8 mm. Prongs at 0.60 / 0.20 / 0.40 with a 0.30 extension, and cutters with the third preset.
