16. Edit the basket settings
With the four views showing, click Edit without choosing a preset. In the Rails tab, deactivate the Top Rail and set the Bottom Rail to 1.70 mm wide and 2.30 mm high.

17. Adjust prong and rail dimensions
In the Prongs tab: height 3.30 mm, diameter 1.10 mm, bottom diameter 0.80 mm, Gem Inside at 0.10 mm — then bring the height down to 2.90 mm. Back in Rails, set height 1.50 mm and width 1.20 mm, and accept.

18. Position the basket and apply it to the gemstones
Select all gemstones and the basket and move them to the height of the profiles. Use Apply Element to put the basket on the non-round stones and on the round gem at the opposite end, adjusting position and rotation from the Top view so each basket connects securely to the profiles.

19. Refresh and refine basket placement
Click Update to refresh all the baskets, then take time to refine. It’s an organic piece — exact symmetry is not required, visual balance is.
