Claw Prongs Ring
Build a gem-set ring where ten graduated stones ride the finger curve, each held by a sculptural claw basket. Working over a Spanish size 14 reference curve, you’ll construct the placement geometry from a pair of temporary gems and a center point, then let Advanced Gems on Curve distribute the stones with exact 0.45 mm spacing.

The heart of the project is the basket: claw prongs at 1.23 mm diameter with a custom Profile 004 rail, applied to every gem and mirrored across the design. You’ll close the shank bottom by projecting and trimming curves, cut the baskets to the final ring size, and — the payoff of parametric modeling — swap the center gem to a cushion at the end and watch the basket refit itself. Follow the step-by-step lessons at your own pace, then watch the video lesson at the end to see the whole build in one sitting.
