Organic Pendant
Model a multi-stone organic pendant where the metal structure grows out of a handful of reference curves. You’ll build a reference surface, dress the curves with edited profiles (0.75 and 1.40 mm widths), and learn the Flip trick for surfaces whose orientation misbehaves — the kind of practical fluency that separates clean organic models from fights with the software.

Then comes the stone work: a free composition of rounds, a marquise, an oval and a pear placed with Diamond Studio, secured with custom baskets (rails and prongs dialed to the tenth of a millimeter) and bezels for the remaining stones. Because the model is organic, exact symmetry is not the goal — balance is. Follow the step-by-step lessons at your own pace, then watch the video lesson at the end to see the whole build in one sitting. The starting curves are in the Downloads section below.
