Domed Pavé Signet Ring
Model a domed signet ring with a hollowed body and a fully paved top. This tutorial digs into surfacing technique: you’ll build the dome from extracted ISO curves and Network Surfaces, offset everything 0.8 mm inward to construct the hollowing insert, and subtract it with a Boolean Difference that leaves the bottom structure intact — a lighter, manufacturable ring without sacrificing presence.

On the finished dome, Pavé Along Surface lays down reference gems, Automatic Pave fills the rest with mixed sizes, and prongs and cutters complete a model ready for rendering. Follow the step-by-step lessons at your own pace, then watch the video lesson at the end to see the whole build in one sitting.
