Anchor Chain Earrings
Model a pair of pavé anchor chain earrings that combine organic SubD smoothing with precise stone work. Starting from three reference curves, you’ll extrude a 2 mm solid, convert it to SubD with QuadRemesh, and sculpt the curvature with symmetry and Soft Transform. Then comes the setting work: a pavé layout with mixed stone sizes, automatic prongs, cutters, and a honeycomb cutout that lightens the piece and gives it a signature finish.

You’ll repeat the workflow at a smaller scale for the second chain link, join both with a custom bail, add the findings — an Omega clasp and a post — and finish with a paired, render-ready earring set. Follow the illustrated step-by-step lessons at your own pace, then watch the video lesson at the end to see the whole build in one sitting. The starting curves for both chain links are in the Downloads section below.
