Butterfly Pendant
Turn a 2D butterfly image into a finished 3D gemstone pendant. This closing project brings the whole course together: you’ll trace the wings over a locked reference image, build and extrude the surfaces, mirror the form, and smooth the organic details with Quad Remesh.
Then the setting work — gems on curves at 1.35 mm, interior pavé matched to the reference, prongs, a marquise center stone with a six-claw basket, and a custom bail — completes a pendant that’s faithful to the original drawing and ready to manufacture.
