1. Add and align reference images
Import the three reference images (top, front and side — in the Downloads) with Add Sketches from the Curves tab. Center them with Artisan Center and use Zoom Extents All so every view frames the bear.

2. Create the head base sphere
In the SubD tab, place a Sphere from the Front view — Grid Snap for the center, then off, Shift + click to create. Scale it proportionally with the Gumball and match it against the references in every view.

3. Shape the head and ear base
With the Faces filter on (and the reference images locked on their own layer), select the four bottom faces of the head and adjust their height. A second sphere from the Front view starts the ear — filter off to grab the whole object, scaled and placed against the reference.

4. Refine the ear shape with vertices and soft transform
Switch to the Vertices filter, grab the ear’s central vertex and push it inward with Soft Transform — the falloff sphere decides how much ear moves with it. An extra edge loop via Insert Edge (Edges filter, double-click) gives the rim its definition.

5. Mirror the ear to create the second side
Mirror the finished ear from 0, holding Shift near the top in the Front view for a straight reflection. Check it from several angles before moving on.
