OSAO is one of Finland's largest vocational education institutions, based in the Oulu region, offering government-accredited professional qualifications across multiple industries, including a Vocational Further Qualification in Goldsmithing that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern digital production.

Through its jewelry and precious metals programs, OSAO trains artisans and working professionals in the full goldsmithing workflow, covering traditional bench techniques alongside computer-aided design and manufacturing, including 3D modeling with Rhinoceros and jewelry-specific tools such as MatrixGold, RhinoGold, and 2Shapes, as well as 3D printing, CNC milling, and laser cutting.
